How to Backup Palace Stock Tracker Data

It is essential that a member of IT staff within your organisation sets up a regular automated backup of this data. We recommend setting up an off-site backup at least once a day and keeping each day's backup seperately (non incremental). The steps below show how to take a manual backup.

Step 1 - Open Data Folder to View Files

• Open the Client Options (how to open the Client Options).
• Highlight the database to backup in the list.
• Press the View Path button.

Step 2 - Copy Data

• Simply copy (not move!) all of the files and folders within the server folder to another location (i.e. USB drive or remote server).
