Selling Items
|
Introduction
Selling items is similar to using a shopping cart on the Internet, items are added to the basket before selling the items (checkout).
The Sell/Discard Stock area contains a list of the items currently in the basket.

Step 1 - Add Item(s) to Basket
- Open the Stock Manager and press List Items (or use the filters or search item number to find the items required).
- Highlight and item in the list (or Ctrl+click to select multiple items).
- Press the Add Selected Items to Sell List toolbar button.

Item numbers can also be added directly using the Add Item by Number toolbar button in the Sell/Discard Stock area. |
Step 2 - Sell Items in the Basket
- Enter the Sell/Discard Stock area.
- Check that the desired items are in the Sell/Discard List.
- Click the Sell Items Now toolbar button.

Step 3 - Create Invoice
- Add an invoice address by pressing the Change button in the Invoice Address box.
- To copy the Invoice Address to the Customer Address press the right arrow button between the address boxes.
- If any of the items are not priced or require discounting highlight each affected line in the list and press Edit (or double click the line) to amend the details.
- Once all of the invoice's information is correct press the Save button.

Step 4 - Print Invoice and/or Till Receipt
- Tick or untick the boxes to print either an invoice and/or a till receipt.

A standard "80x80" till receipt printer is required to print receipts. |

Which of these boxes are ticked by default can be set in the Client Options. |
Step 5 - Book Delivery
After creating the invoice a delivery drop can be booked.
- If a delivery is not required check the Delivery not required box and press OK.
- To arrange delivery select the Arrange Delivery Drop box and press OK.

Check that the Date, Time Slot and Van are all correct and press Save to complete the sale.

If a future delivery or collection is going to or near the delivery address the software may produce a list of recommendations (just like when adding collection items). |
