Overview of Palace Stock Tracker

Palace Stock Tracker works by storing each item indepently rather than using line-based stock management. This approach allows the software to track and record the status changes for every single item.
Each item is assigned a unique number which may be printed to a label (with or without a barcode). An item's number may be used to look up or sell the item. Additionally items with barcodes can be found and sold more quickly using a scanner.
The main interface is split into a number of areas (tabs) which are displayed down the left-hand side.

The main areas are Deleveries & Collections, Sell/Discard Stock and All Stock.
Items can be added and managed using either the Deliveries & Collections or All Stock sections depening on the how the workings of your organisation.
- For items added prior to collection use the Deliveries & Collections section.
- For items added directly to stock use the All Stock section.
Items which are to be sold or (in any other way discarded) use the Sell/Discard Stock section, this works very much like an Internet shopping cart for each transation (or batch).
